Online payments do not require a team plan. Studio adds the modules used for team management, sales and analytics.
The number of active students and teacher profiles. A student counts when their profile is active and not archived; every non-deleted teacher profile counts, including an owner or admin who also teaches. If the school outgrows the pool, you can move up without moving any data.
Every non-deleted teacher profile occupies one slot, whether or not lessons are already scheduled for it. An owner, admin or manager without a teacher profile does not count; if that person also teaches and has a linked teacher profile, it counts like any other. Deleting a teacher profile frees the slot while past lessons, payouts and history remain.
You cannot add a teacher beyond the plan limit: the system will offer an upgrade from Studio to School. An upgrade applies immediately and credits the unused part of the current plan. If someone left, delete their profile to free the slot. A downgrade applies after the paid period ends and only if the current teacher and student counts fit the lower plan.
Yes — pay for a year upfront and you save 20% on every plan. Monthly billing stays the default, with no long-term contract: you can switch to yearly whenever you’re ready, and back if you prefer. Prices are shown in USD as a stable anchor so your plan doesn’t drift month to month, and there are no hidden fees on top of the plan price you see.
Solo is $9/mo or $84/year ($7/mo effective) for one teacher and up to 40 active students. It includes scheduling, the journal, homework, manual and online payments, lesson balances, the student cabinet, SRS vocabulary and basic gamification. Studio and above add automations, analytics, leads, expenses, course authoring, referrals, marketing-campaign tracking, the reward shop and parent invitations. The first 14 days are a free trial with no card.
You can upgrade during a paid period, and the unused part of the current plan is credited. Downgrades and switching between monthly and yearly cadence apply after the current period ends; a downgrade requires the school to fit the new limits. There are no automatic renewals: to stop, simply do not create the next payment. Your data remains exportable.
